Daniel Brian Royer grew up along the shores of Lake Erie in Bay Village, Ohio, where watching Superman sparked a lifelong fascination with heroes, distant worlds, and the extraordinary potential hidden within ordinary people.

After leaving home at seventeen, Royer served with the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division and completed four military schools. His experiences taught him lasting lessons about courage, discipline, loyalty, and perseverance—themes that now shape his storytelling.

A father of three, Royer is the creator of the Aben Almighty series, an epic science-fiction adventure exploring family, identity, sacrifice, and the strength required to become something greater than anyone imagined.
